Starting Jenna’s gym was one of the best decisions I made for myself back in 2020. I first signed up for her meal plans as I was recovering from surgery and on bed rest. Her patience and kindness helped support me through a really difficult time and solidified my decision to start training with her. Joining the JCam Community has been nothing short of amazing. Jenna has created a safe space for women to come together and train in a loving and supportive community. I personally also never feel embarrassed by how fast or slow I can go the exercises. My favorite part of being a part of her community is that even when I don’t feel 100%, other women there help motivate me and push me to keep going. 💙
I started by Jenna in November 2021 to prep for my wedding. Prior to this I had been very sedentary during covid and had been on and off with my workouts for several years and struggled to maintain consistency. In the 5 Months of training with Jenna for my wedding, along with her amazing meal plans, I surpassed my weight loss goals and dropped 10 pounds in time for my wedding. I loved that Jenna pushed me in my training but also made remained conscious of my injuries and what I wanted to work on. My meal plans incorporated foods that I loved and I never felt like I wasn’t eating enough which made it easier to stay consistent. I felt the strongest and most confident in my body in a very long time at my wedding. From the comfort of an all-female environment as well as the support and encouragement from Jenna and the other women at the gym, I was able to stay motivated and consistent to keep coming to the gym and I have now been consistently at Jenna’s for 15 months. I love it here!

Although I’ve been into health and fitness for some time, the impact of COVID lockdown made me unfit, unhealthy and over my preferred weight. I’ve trained with quite a few different people with varying levels of success before I found Jenna. In five months of training with her, being advised by her on eating habits and working hard together, I’ve lost 18 pounds! Jenna’s style of training is geared to make you feel fit and strong, no matter what fitness level you’re at, and she gives all her clients personalized attention throughout their journeys. Although the commitment isn’t always easy, I look forward to going to the gym because not only is Jenna the best, but the environment and people make me happy and comfortable. Now that carnival is over, my motivation is still there and we set new goals so I feel inspired to keep showing up and achieving. The best!
I have been body positive for as long as I can remember. I love my body and all that it’s given me (ESPECIALLY my 3 sons). Of course, 8+ years of pregnancy, loss, 3 c-sections, breastfeeding, demanding career and just life in general took its toll. In 2022 I was at 310+ lbs, low energy and finding it difficult to keep up with all that I wanted to do. After my third son was born, I had a compelling feeling that it was time for a new chapter. I reached out to several popular trainers/ weight loss programmes who rattled off sales pitch after sales pitch. I reached out to Jenna Camacho after seeing her on Instagram and that’s what led me to JCam Fitness. Jenna spent a lot of time truly understanding my goals, challenges over the years and was so encouraging about the journey I was about to start. Jenna has been such a pillar for me over the last year. We started with c-section recovery for a few months, I then worked with her to improve my eating habits but my real journey with her started in January 2023 when I started working out at JCam Fitness.
I consider myself lucky for having good genes where I never “needed” a gym. I always had a decent body with good legs and a butt. Fast forward to December 2020. I had a 9 pound baby via emergency c section. It was a rough time, not being able to catch myself mentally. emotionally and physically after baby. My body was not the same. Everything was different- My boobs, tummy, legs, but most importantly my mind. I was constantly tired and feeling down, after baby blues too I guess. Everyone said I looked great for just having such a big baby as i got back tiny so quickly. But there’s so much more to it than that. It’s about how YOU feel. So I decided to start with Jenna 3 days a week, at 9 months postpartum. I was so nervous. But I figured by then my cut should be healed enough for me to exercise. It wasn’t totally healed, but she was extremely considerate and cautious of my scar, pain threshold and fitness level. She asked me my goals and we started the journey in October 2021. I have never been a gym person so it took a lot out of me to add this to my routine. On days I gave up, Jenna held my hand and rooted me on, so I pushed through- “bad mind” she calls it. It works. It really keeps you going. Our sessions were very personal. It could be a mental thing, but I felt like I saw results weekly. My body slowly started to change into what I wanted, with hard work of course. But my mind made a complete 360! I got a sudden boost of energy and confidence every single day. I felt happy and excited to train. I shocked myself. It was a new me. It’s been a little over a year at Jcam and I never realized how badly I needed it until I actually started. I’ve never felt better- inside and out. It’s a sisterhood full of encouragement and support from every angle. Different women. Different body types. Different lifestyles… But all the same goal- to be happy and comfortable in YOUR own skin. I’m not who I was a year ago thanks to Jenna. She is so much more than a trainer and it’s so much more than just a gym. I wish I started at Jcam years ago when I thought I didn’t need the gym. Before baby, while pregnant and postpartum. Now I know 💪🏼
I’ve been working out and in the fitness world for about 12 years and I’ve never experienced an environment like the one at Jcam fitness. To have a female trainer who genuinely wants to help you not just physically but mentally is something I’ve never experienced before. Jenna creates such a warm and inviting environment that on your first day you will feel as though all the ladies are your family. EVERYONE is encouraging and non- judgmental and pushes you to be your best self. I think for me, I am most appreciative of the mental transformation training with Jenna. I have seen physical changes in my body and I am so thankful for her patience and understanding with not only my PCOS but my hectic schedule. BUT the mental growth, I can’t sing Jenna’s praises enough. She’s helped me so much with my anxiety and mental health. It’s not often you find females with one common goal and all genuinely rooting for each other and I think this is a testament to Jenna not only as a trainer but just as a person in general. I’ve been with Jenna for roughly 4 months and the transformation I’ve already seen, still shocks me. If you are looking for a trainer especially a female one who believes in you, makes you feel welcomed, pushes you, genuinely cares about you and a gym that feels like true therapy and a safe space…then Jenna and Jcam fitness is where you need to be.
